CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Along with Sunday school at 9:30 am in the Education Building, Children’s Ministry at Alvarado Methodist Church includes a Children’s Time during worship, a Children’s handbell choir, and Vacation Bible School. Come join us as we learn Bible stories and what God’s desire is for our gifts!
ALVARADO METHODIST NURSERY
Sundays 9:30 - 11:30 am
Our nursery is a place where each child receives loving care and attention. Children from infant to 4 years old are in age appropriate rooms located in the Family Life Center. Nursery is available during Sunday school and 10:30 worship.
OUR VISION
To ensure that children from the ages of 5 through 5th grade come to church to enjoy learning about God and the path God has for them.
WHAT WE DO
In Children’s Ministry, we strive to ensure that we include playing, change of scenery, and kid-friendly curriculum in our Sunday school Time. This teaching technique works to get us all “charged up for Christ”. Throughout our time together, we take brain breaks.
OUR THEME FOR 2023
This year the theme for the Children's Department is to be the Light of Christ and show others what God does for each one of us in our daily lives (Matthew 5:14-16).
